It will be possible to discover the extraordinary flavour of “Pane delle Palafitte” - the recipe of which was born from an important project aimed at studying, analysing and valorising an archaeological find of bread, dating back to the Bronze Age, discovered among the remains of the Palafitte di Ledro in 1937 and never analysed before - to learn about the recipe, the ancient cooking techniques and the tools used by our ancestors. The Master Bakers and the School of Baking and Pastry Arts of Rovereto will propose the new recipe at the bakery laboratory open to the public in Piazza della Mostra. The traditional recipe for “Torta de fregoloti” will also be proposed, an ancient Trentino recipe for a dessert originally made with simple ingredients, then enriched with almonds.
