During a one-hour workshop, elementary school students will be introduced to the fascinating world of bees and honey. Led by volunteers from the Trentino Beekeepers Association and the Federation of Trentino Beekeepers Associations, children will discover hives, the pollen collection process, and all the steps from flower to jar. Knowledge of local products and respect for nature will be taught, with a focus on the properties of honey as a food and more. At the end, they will taste and identify different types of honey.
